Well, I am sad to say that this will be the first show for many years that I will be missing. I am in Key West for the remainder of the weekend with my wife and it is bittersweet that I am missing Geneseo. Good for the fact that I am with my wife in paradise, bad for the fact that I am missing my hometown and favorite show. I didn't have a plane to crew this year, therefore I can't pass it off as work!

The good thing is that I think I'll be able to make my first Thunder Over Michigan for this year... I am really looking forward to that if it happens.

So, to everyone going... have a great time, take lots of photos, and have a cold one at Club 41 for me, a cold one at Tim's trunk for me, and a few more for the road!

Customs are set, flight plan is filed, fuel tanks are fulled.

I only have to wash the windshield, put my flying suit on and I'm go!

Tim, looked like it. It was on the far side of the field and they were putting
a cover over it as we arrived.

Ryan, what is the world coming to? No Ryan this weekend! Actually this will be the first Friday I have missed at Geneseo that I can remember. I plan to be there by sunset, doh! Anyway you will be missed by all of us.

hi all,

Im even sadder to announce that Ryan is in Key West and we are not!

We will not be attending, even worse I was just sitting in traffic and was rear ended by a 20 year old redhead girl who's parents were a customer of mine from my paper route.

I should have packed last night and left this morning!

Have fun!

It was sure fun meeting everybody at Geneseo this year.

I left early on Sunday, because I wanted to be home before any convective activity and I didn't wanted to to do the flight tired after a long day in the sun. I think that was a good idea, since by 2000 yesterday I was snorring in my bed!

Check for my pictures later today. 8)

Oh, what a weekend... (in the good sense)

Good airplanes, good weather, good company, and (at last) a good camera. Geneseo is always the best weekend in the year for me, and this year was especially good. Life doesn't get much better than this...

It was great to see everyone and get caught up on what's happening. Now, all that's left is to dig through 2600-odd pictures, and find the highlights.

The good weather is especially fortunate, considering what the conditions are like now. It looks like the good weather held just long enough for everyone to get home.
