Thanks for the pictures Chuck. Great to see the HAG’s C-47 in the air. They must have put some long hours in to get it ready for the airshow. Great job to all who made that happen!

Can't wait until Friday when I get to set foot on the field again!

Tim

PS
Thursday night is last call for the beer wish list! Sounds like the IPA will be in high demand. :)

Keep us posted on the condition of the field Chuck, as for me and other flyer, it'll be a determining factor whether or not we drop in...

The field is fine, except that is not paved.
Just kidding, dont shoot me!
It is dry and recently mowed and all other preparations are being made everyday for a good event here.
Let me know when your flying in and you can call me up on the radio. PM me for our company frequency.

PM me if anyone wants the WRG Phone number. It currently is set up for Voice mail but will be set to forward calls to my cell phone for Geneseo.

See you Friday, Chuck! My arrival this time sure will be a letdown after the last one you treated me to! No hookup with Jay & Jon -- how sad to be on 4 wheels instead of in the air!

Well the stars have aligned correctly, and I'll be at Geneseo this year. I can't wait. Two years off was too many...

Do you want to find locations of displayed, stored or active aircraft? Then start with the The Locator.
Do you want to find or contribute to the documented history of an aircraft? If so then start with the Airframes Database.

Too bad Tandalayo will not be there this year. it was really nice to have a B-25 wing to hangout under all weekend.

The next too days are going to drag by so slow! Its going to be supper painful.

I should be there around noon on Friday. Family issues have made attendance a challenge, but I should be there for the whole weekend.

Off to make sacrifices to the weather gods...

I just got word the Vintage Wings Spitfire is unserviceable. Apparently they will be brining the Mustang and the Staggerwing.

I'm getting the custom clearance done tomorrow, then it'll be time to check the aircraft over quickly over lunch and hope for weather!

My group is leaving LI at 4:30am, and should be there by 11:00am Friday. Any plans for a WIX meeting on the field, or at one of the local watering holes in the PM? They closed the bar at the Quality Inn :x

Club 41 is the hot spot on the main drag and within walking distance of the dorms for those that are staying there. I will be arriving late Friday and hope to meet everyone.

Cheers,

Eric

PatM,
I didn't realize there were any other LI based WIX'ers, I'm just up the road from you in Deer Park. If I can pull things together I'm planning on heading up Sat to see the show Sun.

I had a great time last year at Gennie! Hope to get there this year!

Pete

Be warned that most of my driveway is at the bottom of the hill :x . I have not had a chance to move it back up where it belongs yet. So take it slow or you could loose something on the way up (or down Sunday).

I just need to get through 1 more workday; tomorrow I will be at Geneseo, what a great day that will be. :D :D
