This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

Amazing they are all flyable, or at least were. It'll be nice to see the P-38J "Jandina III" added to the collection. Hopefully there's still life left for the Ju87 Stuka to be completed.
Looks like "Jandina III" will be paying a visit to Oshkosh this year as well. May have to pay a visit back to the Midwest in July.

Wow.
Certainly a finalist for most impressive collection owned by an individual.

And there’s about a half dozen “completed” aircraft missing from this display that are most likely still inside the hangars.

I'll be interested to see if the P-38 goes to the museum or whether it stays with the rest of Walton's collection in Arkansas. I think he has at least two P-51s, a Bearcat and Spitfire (maybe more) in Arkansas. At any rate, I'm looking forward to seeing the Lightning at Oshkosh!
It's hard to get a read on what the long-term plans for the collection are going to be. The Mosquito apparently flew to Palm Springs for an event recently and there have been public events for engine runs, but no formal announcement of flying plans - or at least none that I've seen.

He also owns the only airworthy F2G-1 Super Corsair (Race 57).
