Collings TP-51C For Sale

Well its finally up for sale.

I really thought they were going to fly her to Oshkosh, take the awards, get a photo flight with the FW-190, and then either retire her to the museum or fly her. Surprised to say the least. With the family model FM-2 also for sale, I wonder what else will be considered surplus to there needs.

She's been quietly for sale for quite a while. Now that it's ready to go it's official. They are looking for a combat vet P-51 for static display, beyond that I don't know any more. Hopefully she will go to a good home and will be flown.

Considering the rarity of B & Cs, it's better to have it flying than static?

She's been quietly for sale for quite a while. Now that it's ready to go it's official. They are looking for a combat vet P-51 for static display, beyond that I don't know any more. Hopefully she will go to a good home and will be flown.

Absolutely, those were the best days of the tour...won't lie, I sure miss it...all the people that we met throughout the country will always mean the most.
