Since Gerry has stepped aside I think we will see a lot more "traveling" of the collection. I know there was a push to get the Collings 262 there this year but all that fell through. Would have been cool to see a formation, maybe someday.

Paul is correct, I talked to Keegan last year at Oshkosh and he eluded that Jerry was stepping back and that the collection would be a little more visible. They were sorting out mechanics and reorganizing operations. All good news. Jerry really did it right with his collection in perpetuity.

It's a long story, but the guy who was organizing the 'sponsorship' to get it there flaked. The venue then changed to the NMUSAF and that fell through...so, no 262. Unfortunate...but, it'll be spectacular if Yagen's makes it. Yesterday the MAM Facebook page featured a video of it going through taxi tests. Hard to believe its been 10 years since it's flown.

Is the FHCAM P-38 the one in the main hangar at Ezell? That one appears to be a long way off yet, unless it's way further along than meets the eye.

I was off-base with this. Saw a recent pic (since deleted by the poster) and it's looking remarkably complete. Fingers crossed that it makes it to Oshkosh.
