The Sunderland at Duxford was retrieved on low-loaders from somewhere in France and the fuselage cut longitudinally just above the portholes so it could be fitted on the cross Channel ferry decks. It was then carefully put back together and a reinforcing strap welded (?) all the way round the join.

Assuming someone didn't just grab the closest unit...
Not the first time a cowl was "tweaked" to fit a specific engine/mount unit.

I'm guessing that these engines are exchanged as QEC-units or Quick-Engine-Change units. In this case the whole cowling stays with the engine. Moving the whole nose ring, cowling bowl and other bits from one engine to another may easily double the time needed for the change.
