I would guess perhaps some sort of Heritage concern considering its long and storied firefighting career, but then they wouldn't want it going to Pima either.

Yes, they'd have to truck it to Arizona, but flying it down there wouldn't be inexpensive either.

Even with Google Maps, it would be handy to have a helicopter...and perhaps a few Jeeps.
