The cause states "Landing gear collapse on takeoff".
Curious.
Very glad it sounds like no one was seriously hurt.

From the video the left gear starts to fold about 5 seconds into the take off role. The right gear is still down when it goes over the embankment, so to me it appeared that something on the left side failed.

I heard it was widely shared via cell phone but have not seen it made public anywhere. At least not yet.

Tim, if you zoom in and watch it frame by frame, the right gear folds when it gets off in the dirt. Two other things I noticed are that the left gear folds and locks into the well, and the tail wheel also collapsed not longer after.

Correct. And if I had to guess it won't be. It was circulated among the operator community...most of whom are fed up with every accident video getting posted on the internet followed by the expert analysis from everyone sitting behind there computer.

Glad there were no injuries and the aircraft can be easily repaired. For me, the question is; " How do they keep finding propellor blades to keep these aircraft flying?"

Most must have been fed up a long time ago. Although it’s from the self-proclaimed experts whose “expert analysis” tend to be annoying. Indeed the amateurs can be annoying as well.

Many in the enthusiast community don't go out of their way to ingratiate themselves with owners/operators.
Back seat flying/Monday morning quarterbacking on incidents, accidents, paint schemes, buying /selling as well as discussing their health, wealth and other personal matters.
From speaking with a few, it gets old. Others seem unbothered by anything.

One collector/restorer friend who operates his aircraft for fun, (not commercially) got an email from a UK group announcing their arrival date, expecting access as if it were a commercial firm or museum.

On the other hand, the warbirds are historic artifacts and due to their public registration details, are much more visible than if a wealthy owner had put the same money into cars, art, homes or whatever.
