i haven't thought of the one in Athens in years since i saw it there in the mid 90's.

I wouldn't believe too much what an anonymous volunteer says about the SB2C-1 Helldiver. think about it; it flew for the first time last week! Of course, they have things to tweak, and it needs a lot more test flight time. It was the most conservative option to not fly it in the show.

Thanks for the link to recent pics Taylor. With both new SBRCs now completed, I wonder if it would be in Yank's best interest to try and tap one or the other to finish their plane up now too? Strike while the iron is hot so to speak? Maybe even utilize both shops for particular sub assemblies? I'm sure between them both the Helldiver project could be expedited significantly. That's of course if Mr. Nichols wants to pay...

Looks to me like Yanks has plenty on its plate at the moment- F6F, P-47D, P-51A and a Norseman.
