I was just reviewing this thread.
There is a very real possibility that the Lancaster could be put up in a formation with the Lewis Mosquito along with Vintage Wings of Canada Spitfire and Hurricane.
That formation hasn't been done since the 1990's.
It also, has yet to be done in the U.K. 8)

I saw that formation and more in Hamilton, Ontario in 2013 - Lancaster (CHWM), Mosquito (Yagen), two Spitfires and two Hurricanes. https://youtu.be/YJqAMgOEDYk?si=_1VLE4IDHpx3HGgs

Randy Ball on Facebook is sharing he has been uninvited by the EAA. Assuming this is not a hacked post that makes little sense to me. Hugely popular performer.

This is a very weird thing that seems like it's getting extremely blown out of proportion on social media. He claims he was "uninvited," while EAA says he wasn't part of their performer rotation this year. From the outside, it just sounds like Randy thought they had an agreement for him to perform when in fact they didn't. If that's the case, I understand his frustration, but not having an agreement is not the same as being "uninvited." Those two things aren't close to the same thing. Not every popular performer is going to fly at Oshkosh every year anyway, plus there are thousands of other aircraft to look at and multiple jet acts flying during the day and night airshows. He's an awesome performer and I enjoy seeing him fly, but the show will go on.

I saw it at Mildenhall, BBMF with the BAE Mosquito

Lancaster, Spitfire, Hurricane and Mosquito also happened at IAT 1995.

Looking through the posted airshow schedule. It is not clear which day, if any, is the expanded warbird segment. I think usually it's Tuesday?

I see on the latest EAA update for Oshkosh they note two razorback P-47s attending. Presumably SNAFU is making the trip unless someone got mistaken on the razorback part and are counting Bonnie and the Fagen example?
Also envious of anyone who gets to see this

The Lancaster is scheduled to join both B-29s in flying in formation as part of the night air show on July 24. The trio of aircraft flying together marks a rare occurrence in air show history and creates one of those “Only in Oshkosh” moments.

If anyone was hoping to see Kermit Weeks' A-26 this year, you'll have to wait.

OK, Gang, I recently had the chance to visit the Douglas A-26B at the Chino Airport in California.
There was a lot of minor stuff that needed to be redone and fixed up from its 30-year back-burner restoration. Over time, it just wasn’t a priority and we were focused on other things. Also, the paint job had some issues so we had it stripped. It’s now going to be bare acid-etched natural aluminum, so it will look original, and the future paint won't be an issue. The right front gun panel is a sample of what it will look like. The engine overhauls were 15 years ago and the hoses and seals all needed to be replaced. As soon as Tucker finishes the aft fuselage outside, it will return to the hangar for the rest of the interior and exterior work.

There's now some confusion about which night the Lanc/B-29/B-29 flight will occur, with the airshow schedule page saying they will open the Wednesday night show and the latest news item about the RCAF 100th saying it will be the Saturday night show. Hopefully we'll get some clarity on that.

EAA webinar tonight made it clear that the schedule for the -29 and Lanc flight is Wednesday night to kick off the air show. Said it many different times this evening.

Thanks Corsair. I'm not surprised that the news item is less reliable on detail than the other parts of the site. I don't put much stock in the "two razorback P-47s" mention either, I will be happy with any two P-47s.

There has been some behind the scenes talk of the P-47 'Snafu' possibly attending (its been in North Dakota being refinished), and the P-47 'Bonnie' of course is confirmed. I recall Fagen Fighters mentioning back in May that they intend to bring their P-47 as well.
