Well crap. It was supposed to be here in Battle Creek for our air show over the Fourth of July weekend. I don't think I've seen a P-38 fly in 20 years.

The Planes of Fame P-38 is covering at least some of the scheduled appearances by the Erickson P-38, including Battle Creek.

The Spruce Goose ?

I think Warbird Kid is referring to the rumored sale of Yankee Lady... I'm perplexed at the crazy airshow arrangements of recent, the parting of the flagship B-17, renaming, the scrapping of the Argosy and whatnot... it just doesn't make sense to me and seems like the museum has lost their charm and their way...

Well yeah, not high odds of the goose showing up anywhere.
Is what it is, nothing last forever.
