Warbirds Engines and Fuel going forwarrd

The modern warbird movement is now 50 years old. We are seeing new restorations of warbirds taking place all over he world. Case in point the newest Mosquito that took flight a few days ago. 25 years ago we had none flying now were up to 5 that can fly. My questions is 2 fold. How well stocked is the Warbird Market for the next 50 years in a continued supply of engines? Merlins, Allisons, R-2800, R-2600, 3350's etc.
Also I know there has been research in trying to replace 100LL, but will fuel be a source of concern in the future? As far as rebuilding, or restoring all major componets of warbirds I don't see an issue. One can make most anything in this day and age. As I always say Keepem flyin

Use of baffles/clack valves would be my first suggestion, but the point isn't really clear.

I would guess that unless you are rebuilding a Bristol, there are plenty of cores, parts and demand (which leads to parts).

Fuel may be the larger issue.
The current administration just announced a proposal to increase taxes on fuel for Bizjets. By singling out that market (not the usual taxes to pay for infrastructure or ATC), I guess they are going after the wealthy as a punitive measure or to inhibit use for environmental concerns.
So, tax bizjet fuel now (seems like a chore for the FBO, do you tax all Jet A sales..even for airlines or Lifeflight medevac flights??).
Next, why not go after the wealthy who can afford $3-5 million warbirds?

Warbird owners won't find much sympathy among a large segment of the public given today's carefully cultivated " 'Them' vs. us" political climate.
Reminders of history, WW II patriotism and nostalgia will only go so far.
