What? You're talking about a Douglas C-133 Cargomaster, correct? C-133s didn't have a bubble canopy. I'm very confused.
Guessing that's supposed to be CT-133 canopy.
Other sources online have suggested its actually a CF-100 canopy. How cool would it have been to ride in a crew cab Mustang

A 4 seat Mustang?! - and I thought it was tight side by side in a Cessna 150.

Oh, that makes a lot more sense! The
Bacon Super T-6 was supposed to have used a T-33 canopy as well:

It had a longitudinal bench seat.

Wow I'm getting queasy just thinking about that. Imagine a hot day at Oshkosh, waiting in line to sit sideways under that bubble canopy, Pros: the chance for a bucket list ride in a mustang CONS: waiting in line to take off the sun beating down thinking about that bratwurst with mustard and onions you had a half hour ago.......

I think the idea was, you straddle the seat, with a sweaty pilot in front of you and more sweaty passengers behind

.
Stallion 51, eat your heart out!

Safest in the back. Lots of airbags in front of you.

Thanks for the kind words folks! I used filler all over the Zero and a B-25 QEC on the Val, just like Bob!
August: check your PMs.

I can't imagine where a Canadian would get such an idea...
I wonder if the seat folded up to repair cracks in the radiator? Just don't leave home without the JB Weld.

I saw it on Barnstormers last year…. A McKissick Viceroy, I think it was called.
