B-17G 44-83316 and Twelve O'Clock High, etc.

I just added a post at aerovintage about another somewhat obscure B-17G...this being 44-83316 and one that had a long and torturous history. However, parts of it are still around and have gone into several B-17 restorations. It was the second B-17 (fuselage only) used during the filming of the second and third seasons of Twelve O'Clock High in 1965 and 1966.

I remember when this show was in prime time!!!! I'm re-watching it on Amazon Prime and it beats any WWII aviation show.
