There's only one powerplant for the Sea Fury. Apologies to Mr Pratt and Mr Whitney but if it doesn't have sleeve valves it's not the real deal.

Andy it's actually 4 different engines...
Silver Sea Fury = R3350
"924" = Centarus
Argonaught = R2800
Dreadnought = R4360

Many years ago, I met Frank Sanders in Boise.
He pulled up in a Sea Fury so it wasn't difficult to figure out who he was!
Seemed a nice guy and was surprised I knew of him.

I can't imagine a 4360 in a fighter...
Too bad they never built the F8B in quantity.. A few of them mixed in with Sea Furys at Reno would have been fun to see.

Was watching the film and couldn't figure out what type of the aircraft was used for the photo ship. It looked tight inside and the door and window placements reminded me of the Dick Foote FM-2 Wildcat that had three seats in the interior with the door in the same location.
