Thunderbird is truly a beautiful restoration - confess it I must, I do like to see the old racers preserved as such, love to see Red Baron resurrected.

Part of the NATA gathering at Sheboygan this week. Not finding much from Dubuque. Any WIXers there?

I went with Tuesday as the weather is supposed to heat up, high 90's by the end of the week, it looks like Friday may be the best air show day. Hope I chose wisely.

I think its really cool that the Thunderbird Mustang is parked in the "Vintage" area and not in "Warbirds"... 8)

Don't think I've seen any photos of the P-51 "Cavalino" before. Nice! Anyone have a Corsair count?

Cool pictures! Thank you for sharing.

The L-4 with the "Brodie" gear is interesting.

Looks like the Connie had a mechanical issue. Hope they can get it the rest of the way in the next few days.

Matt - I thought I had seen where "Cavalin" is the former "This is it !" And although I'm not on site - I understand the Corsair count is at 8 -

Jim Tobul's -4
EAA's -4
Bob Bull's -4
Wings of the North -4
Warbird Heritage Foundation FG-1D
CAF's FG-1D
Rod Lewis's FG-1D
Fighters & Legends -5

Thanks for the Corsair list! Hopefully, they'll get the 10-12 they're hoping for.

I opted for other travel instead of Oshkosh this year, but am still missing it badly. Appreciate any and all photos from anyone who can post!

I have only seen 7 based on photos and Flightaware, with the Beck -4 being the one that I haven't caught.

#8, or possibly 9, is inbound right now. Louis Horschel's FG-1D N43FG.

Hey Ryan the EAA's -4 is sitting up in boeing plaza and Rod Lewis's FG-1D was just recently brought over from one of the hangers were it's been since it flew in last week... I just seen it on the warbird webcam sitting on the concrete pad by the warbirds in review...

9 Corsairs on the grounds now. Still no Connie. No sign of Rosie the Rocketer.
