The "bomber seats" are a big thing in some rods and "Rat rods". Like belly tanks, surplus aircraft parts found their way into post-war rods and dry lake racers.

Today, they go for good money, though I saw some convincing units that came out of an Austin Healy Sprite, they had the metal look once the padding and springs were stripped off.

I wish I could find/get an A-20 seat. I was fortunate to get a B-25 Post-War Weber seat from Gary Austin's estate sale.
