Operationally, it will be interesting to see if procedures change following the Dallas collision.
Hopefully, WIX members who take part can share details.

In the latest (March 2023) issue of Flypast magazine, Rod Lewis mentions he hopes his C-121 Constellation will be ready in time for Oshkosh

Also during the Warbirds in Review Grumman Cats day - Rod mentioned that his F6F Hellcat should be ready as well...

Thinking of 2023 warbird possibilities:
-DTAM P-47 Thunderbolt
-P-51C Mustang "Thunderbird"
-Lewis Legends C-121 Constellation
-Lewis Legends F6F Hellcat
-Kermit Weeks A-26 Invader
-Kermit Weeks Boeing 100
-CWHM Firefly
-VWoC Hurricane
-Military Aviation Museum A6M Zero
-Fw190F (long shot, I know)
-TP-51C Mustang "The Stars Look Down (another long shot)
-Fagen Fighters SB2C Helldiver
With the Vietnam commemoration announced yesterday, there's also the possibility of some UH-1's, H-34, C-123K, A-4's, B-52, F-100, Spooky and some other bits.
I just hope the airshow this year is much better. Oshkosh's displays aren't usually the best but 2022's absolutely sucked.

Something tells me that the award judges are going to have a tough year with all the beautiful restorations coming out...

Historically, Collings has been quite good with letting the respective restorers reap the rewards of their labors via awards at KOSH. Perhaps the Butcher Bird isn't quite as long a shot as thought.
Of course, a PB4Y-2 chase plane would be required (to haul tools and beer and stuff)...
