"Cash McCall" B26

While watching this 1965 movie James Garner was flying a converted B-26 with N36B on the tail, but no info on it at the FAA web site.It was yellow with black trim.

Even the IMPDB is unsure. BTW, I've met James Garner. Nice guy, treated his crew well at the commercial shoot (Mazda in the mid-80's)-to a person they all said they loved working with him.

Don't put too much stock in the IMPDB.
A lot of entries were seemingly entered by non-aircraft people.
I tried correcting some but had to give up due to the sheer volume of errors.

The IMCDB is much better...likely because more people know cars than aircraft.

Not sure if this helps, but at least a different photo. It seems to have spinners and afterbodies here, not to mention the paint and nosecone appear to be different.
