Syrian Airfield decoys

There is an airfield east of Aleppo Syria that has the remains of several Gloster Meteors scattered about as decoys. Any thoughts on the other birds in these shots? SeaFurys?

Decoys? Or just stuff put out in a field to get it out of the way?
I can't imagine this would fool anyone attacking them as decoys as they're clearly away from where you'd expect anything worth dropping a cluster bomb onto...

Given Syria operated the Fiat 46/55/59, I would agree that's what they are

Coordinates are 36.187243118426146, 37.581151005744594. Lots of historical aerials, but none clearly than what was posted above.

Regardless, no one is going to be rescuing these birds anytime soon!

Next to the ramp south of there is a little graveyard with an identifiable Meteor, some L-39s and other stuff. Lots of Meteors around the airfield too!

Stoney, think they are Sukhoi SU-7s.

This is Kuweires airbase in Syria.

During the fighting out there a couple of years ago, there were a few good photos crop up on Twitter of the Meteors, I think there's about a dozen in all, in several different variants. This was one of the better ones.

Wikipedia gives a pretty detailed history on the Syrian Air Force. They had a lot of french stuff early on as well as T-6's, and Spitfire Mk. 22s. Probably a lot of them were lost due to accidents or given to the Egyptians. It sure would be interesting to run across a few ex-pats that might know where the other aircraft junk yards are located.

I'm thinking the "Fiats" may in fact be L29's without tail and with engine removed, it looks like a tri-gear type with missing tail rather than a taildragger with missing engine.

Thought I saw some more elsewhere on the airfield but I can't find them now.

Other types visible apart from L-39s include what must be Saab Supporters, MiG-21s and possibly MiG-17s or 19s?
