The Erickson SBD/A-24 was just added to the AirExpo lineup and I believe the plan is for both to head to Oshkosh after...

The Erickson birds are no longer coming to AirExpo and wont be at OSH.

The Lewis Air Legends F4F-3 is the subject of Monday afternoon Warbirds in Review with Taras Lyssenko according to the July issue of Warbirds. That'll be a good one!
Which collection is the American Honor Foundation Inc? Monday morning is their F4U-4, P-51D and F-86.

The pilot's posting some nice footage of that on Instagram.

Probably ancient history for most (but just in case it isn't)...

Some additional attendees that you'll want to check out include:

Mid America Flight Museum's Travel Air...fresh out of restoration and flying off the hours to make the run to KOSH.

And John Sandberg's grandson, Johnny B--driving force behind Tsunami's rebuild--will be at a booth close to the colleges. Not sure what he's bringing for display, but the fuselage is out of the jig and work on the empennage has begun. Be sure to stop by and offer a word of encouragement on his efforts.

Sounds like the Cavanaugh P-40 is making the trip too. That should give us four P-40s on the field along with American Dream, Fagen and the CAF examples.

Less than a week away - any word on which days the big warbird shows? Trying to plan which day I will visit.

Kalamazookid posted this link on page 1:

https://eaa.org/airventure/eaa-airventu ... rld-war-ii

It indicates that Friday & Saturday will be the bigger Warbird days as usual.

Notes from a May Ground Ops conference call have some interesting detail:

1. Commemoration of 75th Anniversary of WWII End:
a. Mix of WoA and solo WWII aircraft acts to tell story of WWII from pre-war trough VE/VJ days.
b. P-38 will be impressive show
c. Monday through Thursday “normal” WoA flights
d. Friday-Saturday reduced participation highlighting “Heavies” with “Little Friend” cover.

2. USAF AFSOC participation should be high
a. 14 confirmed planes
b. Thursday arrival
i. Mock attack to open daily show
c. “Dedication” flights Fri-Sun with AC-47 and AC-130
d. Mock attack to open Saturday night show too.

Don't think this was meant to be secret - in any event, things do change.

Has anyone seen the daily airshow schedules anywhere? EAA usually has posted them by now but I can't find them.
