What's the story on what appears to be a F-16 sitting over at the edge of the blacktop?

Found this: https://www.f-16.net/aircraft-database/ ... file/1100/

Seems it is block 15 F-16A 81-0759, which was mounted on a pole in front of the terminal, but then taken down for a terminal remodel.

This article indicates it had an engine problem as was not repaired as the unit was preparing to transition to the F-15:

I heard pretty much the same story on the F-16 and that structural damage as well as the switch to F-15s at Klamath Falls made the airplane beyond economical repair.

Thanks for the Viper photos/info. I was thinking it was a mockup, but should have realized it was likely stuffed/mounted...
