Engine run-up trailer at Reading, PA

Gary,

Did you find out anything about the ex-USAF engine run-up trailer at Reading, PA? Was it still there and were you able to see it?

Yes, and a matter of fact it was indeed just like the one we've acquired, only with a few different modifications. When I spoke with Pappy at the Mid Atlantic Air Museum about it, he said to his knowledge there were only three of those engine run up trailers like that built. He thought that his was the only one remaining until I told him about ours. So that means there might just be at least one more out there, so keep your eyes open. ;-)

As far as any technical info on it, I didn't get far. I reckon I'll just have to wing it.

I saw that trailer! I had no idea it was uncommon. I saw it behind the museum in the little valley, and thought "hey thats cool" and kept walking.
