Image help for a project

I am working on a project and I have 2 photos that I cannot find, and thought that since there are a number of photo bloodhounds here... I am cleaning up a low volume book and replacing as many photos as I can find and these 2 have me stumped.
the F6F unit is unknown, the F4U-4 is from VMF-235. What you see is the quality I have been dealing with.

Regarding the F6F, look at VF-8 in the mid-1944 time frame.
