I've seen/heard a rumor that the demo team that will be participating in the 2021 Airshow will most likely be the F35 and some sort of F/A-18 Hornet demo team, Are these rumors true or just spreading BS?

Not sure about the Hornet rumour, but I have heard the Air Force is going to try to honour as many of the 2020 bookings as possible in 2021. Time will tell. ICAS is less than a month away.

The ACC demo team schedules are usually released during the ICAS Convention, which this year starts December 7. Navy TAC demos aren't always ready for ICAS but they may be announced then too. I'm sure we'll find out on or around that date.

F-35A will probably be there. Regarding the Navy, I think that depends on how their scope looks in 2021. 2020 was supposed to be the first year of the F-35C demo, alongside the Super Hornet demos and continuation of Legacy Flights with those two and the Growlers/Jayhawks/Texan II’s etc. If the Super Hornet demo team is allowed to book more shows this year then it’s possible TOM would get it. I know Yuma is pushing for the demo at their show.

And the Blue Angels next year (2022) with a show date of July 16&17, which puts it the weekend BEFORE oshkosh gives them a jet team AND the chance to nab some sweet airventure warbird attendees.

Looks like the F-35A demo team is cutting 30% of their shows (8 out of 22), they haven't announced which ones are cut but that should be announced soon.

I'd be perfectly happy if this was one of those shows they were cutting.

Are there any updates on who's attending, or is stuff kind of at a standstill until it becomes more clear whether or not TOM can or can't have airshow?

For those who aren’t on AirshowStuff forums, Scooter will be flying Tobul’s Corsair in the Legacy Flight. Assuming this will be with Growlers.
