Did the F-86 in this thread ever become airworthy? It was supposed to be painted in Minute Men colors. I believe the guy also owns several F-100 Super Sabres.

It was painted, and looked very nice. However, despite being told that it did fly, I have yet to see any photographs. It's an ex-FSI, ex-SAAF Sabre 6.

A video of it's first post restoration engine run and taxi back in 2012. You can see a couple of the Huns in the background.

A video of one of it’s first flights back in 2015:

Nice to see it flying! I took those original photos in the hangar back in 2010 when it was "nearing" completion.

I was there last year and wondered what was parked inside the hangar. There was a T-33 parked outside. It’s hard to believe the two F-100’s are parked outside, with the ladders attached and GPUs nearby. No canopy covers or red gear and it gives the impression they are getting ready to fly them. The Super Sabre’s haven’t flown in years and because of their monetary value, it’s a little surprising they aren’t hangared.

At least one of those Big Sky (ex Tracor) F-100's is still at Mojave airport.
