deep delve here..

I used to have a picture of a P-51 with 3 bombs mounted to one pylon. It had, I think, a 500lbs mounted on the pylon with either 100 or 250lbs bombs wired to either side so they will all drop at the same time.

I, for the life of me, cannot find it on my computer. Does any one have this floating around their hard drives?? I would like it, or somehthing similar for a youtube video I am making.

Thanks,

Sean

EDIT: updated title to reduce confusion

The hyperlink indicates 14th AF/16th Sqdn. http://i262.photobucket.com/albums/ii12 ... -bombs.jpg

A fourth fighter squadron for the 23rd Group was obtained by subterfuge. In June and July 1942, Chennault got the Tenth Air Force to relocate the 51st FG's 16th Fighter Squadron, commanded by Major John Alison, to his main base in Kunming, China, to gain combat experience. Chennault took them into the CATF – and never returned them.

There is this photo, of the exact same aircraft, showing it fitted with a plumbed and gas-filled drop tank for range and napalm-filled P-40 tank for bombing.
