From memory I think David Arnold still has the following in storage:

Seafire III
Spitfire IX
P51D - Mary Mine
Mystery Ship
SE5A
P40
P38
Grumman Duck (possibly)

There could well be more but these are the ones that spring to mind right now.

The only Seafire candidate in Goodall looks like PP972/G-BUAR, although I think it changed hands in 2012.

The Duck may be BuNo1649/N63850, although again that moved on from Arnold in 1998

The Seafire III has not changed hands. In order to interpret the CAA register correctly, you need to understand the difference between 'Owned' and 'Chartered'

The Mystery Ship is the one that was once owned by Pancho Barnes

The Seafire (along with the SE5e) moved to a private airstrip in Oxfordshire earlier this year. The Seafire is currently for sale

I was thinking the Duck which was restored and had an accident in Alaska Bu32769 N8563F. This Duck is/was registered to Skyfire Corp who also have Mary Mine registered to them. Hence my speculation that this is one of David Arnold's aircraft.

Chris (Yak11 Fan) has already listed the aircraft he is thought to have.

Mary Mine is the ex-361st FG P-51D originally flown by George Vanden Heuvel.

Correct. The Duck is in Apopka, Fl and Mary Mine was shipped back to the UK Dec. 2016

Anyone have a N number for this Duck in Apopka. It is the city next to mine and I would like to find it.

Did Arnold have a second P-38 that I am unaware of? The machine that he operated in the UK for a brief period of time is the one that was purchased by Evergreen and is now owned by the Collings Foundation. Is this the machine in question or is there another?

The other P38 is P38H 42-66841 which was the aircraft previously restored to static condition by Classic Jets Fighter Museum in Australia.

The Mystery Ship is the one that belonged to "Pancho" Barnes (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pancho_Barnes)
