The thing I don't like is how certain things are being overly bought up at the stores. The thing I do like is finally more people are getting germ conscience that is a good thing. Something the millennial and younger generations have not be properly taught. Now I just wish all food handling establishments would wise up and learn how to be sanitary. The last time I went to a famous chicken outfit I saw an employee come out of the crapper and never washed his hands and headed back into the kitchen area. Haven't gone back there. Yup too many give a crap care free individuals working at
food places, they have no respect for others.

I love the photos, but could they be in other threads? This thread would be a good service to the group by being an easy place to find COVID-related closures and cancellations without scrolling past all the cool eye candy.

Nothing like a sweeping statement to bring authority to an argument. :drink3:

My mom and gramma every day pitch as a kid......"go wash your hands and face when you come in or get ready to eat"

VFM is closed to guests for at least the rest of March. The facility is open to crew members and hangar tenants. Work on aircraft maintenance and restoration projects will continue.

Warbird Ride Day and Texas Rosie Garden dedication (both scheduled for March 21) have been postponed. New date(s) TBA.

Better safe than sorry.

I don't think it's necessary to just generalize entire generations as:
"They don't teach them whipper-snappers like we were taught! We had manners! And knew hygiene!"

You come across as a bit out-of-touch. Have some younger people not been taught proper hygiene? Sure, probably as much as any other generation. You don't see me saying:
“The boomers inherited a rich, dynamic country and have gradually bankrupted it, leaving an extremely difficult landscape for younger generations to navigate upwards successfully to achieve financial stability and success."

In regards to this current outbreak. Could this virus be pushed a bit more by the news because of the old adage: "If it bleeds, it leads"? Absolutely. But regardless, should we still be careful / considerate to the potential that this could get worse? Yes. I say, its better to be safe than sorry.

My "Cool Eye Candy" online Museum WILL stay open.

And for God's sake!!!! Use some common sense, unlike the dopes in OR.

"An Oregon police department is asking residents to stop calling 911 because they've run out of toilet paper."

I've heard a solid rumor from a friend of a friend of a friend that the Chino Airshow cancellation announcement may be made shortly.

It takes months of preparation and they can't have volunteer meetings at the moment.
