Very cool find, Mark, and thank you for sharing. This photographer knew how to compose a photograph and to tell a story with his camera lens.

Like it. Also, so much for the no smoking within 50 feet sign that was painted in the nose doors of Korean era B-29s. I guess somebody found out the hard way earlier like one of the photos suggest.

The photographer, Jack Delano, had been a photojournalist for the Farm Security Administration until 1943, when he joined the AAF. So it's no surprise that his pictures were good. Thanks for pointing them out to us.
