Converting this thread to a general Forgotten Aviation Update thread so there won't be a flurry of similar threads as I update the Forgotten Props section.

P-39 Airacobra
Hi all, It took around a week to do since there are so many of these aircraft to track. However, the initial entries for the Bell P-39 Airacobra have been generated @ http://forgottenprops.warbirdsresourceg ... cobra.html

Any additional information and or images (in service pics) are welcome.

Hey, Scott I just found out the Air and Space have all the USAF/USN/USMC aircraft record cards on microfilm. I could look into purchasing these microfilms. Also, can you email me the template for Forgotten Props so I can input the N3N info Thanks

If you send me a text file with the each aircraft in this format.

<div class="serial_number_plate">
Douglas A-20B-DL Havoc/41-3668
</div><!-- end serial_plate -->
<ul>
<li>Construction #:5998</li>
<li>Information Needed.</li>
</ul>
<br>

An alternative is an excel file. Each aircraft on one line. I can massage it into code easily enough.

A-20 Havoc section is live. No pictures yet but the information I have for each airframe is there.

If there's no photos it didn't happen. :lol:
But seriously, Scott, thank you for a massive amount of useful information.
