A couple of days ago, some unknown warbird was spotted traveling via truck through northern Louisiana. Any ideas as to what it was and where it was heading??

Possibly the TBM project that the CAF has. It was assigned to a Squadron in Florida and just left here (Midland) last week.

On my way to Chino from Phoenix this past weekend I passed a Mallard fuselage on a trailer headed west on I-10. Any idea where that one might be headed as well?

Not recent, but my most unusual sighting on I-10 was an SR-71 ! Coming back from San Antonio I was coming through San Felipe where there is a truck stop. I looked over and saw the unmistakable shape of an SR-71 ! Turns out it was on its way to the Houston docks, it was enroute by ship to Duxford.

Coolest thing I ever saw on the highway was the B-36 wing on it's way from DFW to the Pima Air Museum. It took up both westbound lanes of I-10. As it was approaching, my buddy Darrell and I were trying to guess what it was. Darrell said it looked like a wing but it was way too big. It was then that we saw the six giant nacelles and figured out what it was. Must have been a logistical nightmare but it WAS cool to see it on the road. Wish I could see one in the air.
