No wheels needed...just like a heli they are so ugly earth naturaly repels them......Only needed to move them around once back on terra firma.

No clue am not in expert on the BT-13 but the cowl and windshield seem off to me.

Just checked and found a photo from the same angle...the windscreen matched.

The engine on the left is a Packard Merlin V-1650-7 coming from P-51D 44-13663 that was recovered in 1981 by association Ailes Anciennes in France.

The wreck was displayed for a few years at the Musée de l'Air et de l'Espace at Le bourget airport, before being given back to our association. The engine was loaned/donated in 1991 or 1991 and was on display in a museum near Utah Beach, and is probably still there. The rest of the wreck left for England in August 1997.
