I have a distant cousin who is an artist and has become something close to obsessed with George H. W. Bush. Last time I saw him a few years ago, he was working on a series of paintings depicting Bush's life at every hour on the day he was shot down.

I had a Lodge Brother who was an ME-109 pilot (can't remember, but think an ace) who always said CAVU stood for "Clear Allde Vay Up"!
