If she was a D model then yeah, it'd make sense. Still needs that expensive bomb bay though!

If she was a D model then yeah, it'd make sense. CAF should invest in a new short run Liberator production run.

Personally, I think she would look better with carefully lined off D-Day invasion stripes, a "Shark's mouth", and air-brushed nose art, all in highly reflective glossy paint or highly polished all natural aluminum.

Congrats to everyone involved! It's nice to see the "ugly step-child" of the B-17 get some love and attention.

The Collings Foundation has a B-24, "Witchcraft", in flying condition, and it tours the USA regularly. I saw it and did a walk-through when they came through Tucson about six months ago.

And the Australian group. They have made significant progress on their Liberator.
