Personally, I'm happy to see it preserved. The Connie here in Australia that flies is painted in a pseudo Qantas scheme and it's really a C-121...but who cares, it awesome to see it flying and preserved.

Sorry Invader>>>NOT being a schoolteacher! Just trying to Help point out the differences in forums here for different aircraft types. Not mad at the post and agree that the forums are about sharing, learning and expressing opinions.
Aware that the Australian Super Connie and the Swiss Super Connie in Europe are BOTH C-121C's, and I know that the Airline History Museum's "Super G" in Kansas City is actually an L-1049H. The differences are important to me and some others I am sure.
And I am happy to see any Constellation preserved, flying or not, but I am especially looking forward to seeing the two C-121A Connies (Columbine II and Bataan) hopefully joining the North American air show circuit in the next few years.

I wonder if the one in KC will ever fly again??
