Hunting for Bob Griffin from the CAF in Harlingen

Thu Aug 02, 2012 12:28 pm

Does anybody know if Bob Griffin is still alive and where he is at? Back in the late 70s he was the director of the Confederate Air Force. I understand name was changed from Robert to Roberta and I think he moved to California about the time he left the CAF. He was a big money money man behind a lot of the early caf acquisitions.

No idea where he might be, sorry. But I seem to recall that he was responsible for funding the purchase of at least the Dauntless and Helldiver, amongst a few others.

Bob did indeed move back to California and was last known as Robin Villavecchia. She passed away over a year ago with her intellect and wit intact. You can goggle her name for additional information.
