Brilliant Peter, I remember back in the days when both of those A/C along with the Corsair were at the Breckenridge Air Show...

I really like the new nose art additions on the Red Bull P-38 and B-25 - clearly the work of Romain Hugault, whose vintage aircraft and warbird-themed artwork I've greatly admired for years. These additions, I feel, add a more classic appeal to the aircraft, and work-in perfectly over the Red Bull logo.

I was never a big fan of the CAF house colors on "White Lightning" and so was not one of those who lamented when Red Bull went with something different. Having said that, I was a HUGE fan of Lefty and loved watching him perform in the P-38 and I was hoping that Red Bull would put some sort of tribute to him on the airplane somewhere.

Nothing better than Lefty doing aeros in "White Lightning" including shutting down one engine...
I loved the early CAF when they had all the fighters in the white/red/blue schemes..

I do miss him and his flying...

Fantastic aircraft, beautiful photographs. I especially like the view of the three Curtiss siblings in formation; that's probably never been seen before. Interesting to see the design changes between the aircraft (in only a few years) and the family resemblance.
Thanks- well done!
