Another great selection of photos Mark. I'm still going through them as it seems there is something new to be found each time. I note on page one some island based birdcage Corsairs with national insignia painted on the top of both wings. Never seen that before, interesting.

Re. the B-25 over Solenzara. The top turret guns appear to have flash suppressors. While I have seen them on warbirds, I don't recall ever seeing them in historical photos before. Also, there's something I can't put my finger on with the turret itself, so I'll ask the experts: is it a stock unit or is there something different with the dome/plexiglass/framing?

Pretty sure this pic below is the old Ramey AAF, now CGAS Borinquen in Puerto Rico and not in South America. I recognize the lighthouse off in the distance and I use to work in the hanger on the far right.

Thanks especially for that Peterson Field shot! Zooming in and enlarging it I spy three O-47s all the way to the rear in the middle. Also interesting to see the three B-25s missing all their stabilizers.
