It looks like DOC will be at World War Two Weekend in Reading PA this year. Will FIFI also be attendance? I dont think DOC sells rides yet, so will it be on the ramp for all to see up close?

The Berlin Airlift Historical Foundation , according to their website, will also have their C-54 in attendance there. Add 1 more 4 engine aircraft . Looks like I may have to make a dash out there. I hope there is a flight of all Heavies. Now if Diamond Lil can make it....

The MAAM confirms to date they'll have: (2) B-29s, (2) B-17s, C-54, C-97, (4) B-25s, C-45, C-46, (3) C-47s, among many other single engine....

Whos the other B-17? "Movie Memphis Belle"?

They h ave got quite the aircraft list posted!

https://www.maam.org/wwii/ww2_acft.htm

Unfortunately, they list all aircraft as a performer, including their P-61 and P2V and I doubt they will "perform" and remain static.

Can anyone confirm intentions to put the two B-29s and the C-97 up at the same time (circuit/gaggle/formation?)

Note is says the C-97 is "open for tours". That means static display to me, because as of right now that is all they can do. Training flights, money for fuel/oil and whatever the FAA requirements are have yet to be done. I believe they plan to do all that in the spring before Reading but it takes funding. They get enough money it will likely fly, if they don't it will be static. They accept donations via their site http://www.spiritoffreedom.org/

Kevin told me the C-97 will be static. I pleaded to at least do a taxi run so people can hear it run. :D He said that was a good idea, but still a no. :)
