If I remember the article on World Wide Warbirds correctly, they did have either the remains of an actual Pinball plane or all of the armor off of one that could be used to make one.

Agree! looking at the head on pic, knowing that the guns were sync'd to fire thru the prop did they fire between blades or split the blades?
