Now's as good of time as any for them to start! :drink3:

And I'm hoping American brings back DSTs...:)
Really, I'd pay a lot to do coast to coast on a AA sleeper...or any DC-3.

I WANT ONE!! Just because when I was about 7 or 8 I got to go for a ride in one of the very last KC-97s the Utah ANG had in Salt Lake. Lufthansa is redoing that Connie - maybe they would like to go 'whole hog' and redo a Stratocrusier!?

Count me in too. When i was a CAP cadet in about 1970 or so, Got a ride in a WIANG C-97 at MKE. The Guard had a C-97 fitted with seats, (Rear facing if memory serves). Might have been some sort of a hack/ transport. I remember getting getting yelled at when i got home because i walked under the engines as they dripped oil. I wondered why the mechanics were laughing. Mom didn't think it was funny that my uniform shirt was ruined.
What a day! we got to climb all over the KC-97's, received "mission" briefings, even got to fly the simulator. non motion but everything lit up there was engine and wind noise, still remember that.
