History and Aviation Archaeology with Daniel Leahy

The Wings Over New Zealand Show Episode 111 is now online. In this episode – part of the Wings Over Australia sub-series – James Kightly and I met with Daniel Leahy for lunch in the Albury Airport cafe in New South Wales, where we discussed Daniel’s work as a historian and his studying to become aviation archaeologist.

Daniel explains a new form of 3-Dimensional archaeology that he has been learning and perfecting, where 2-D photos of an object are turned into a 3D image. Links to examples of his work in this field are on the show page linked below
