Here's another shot from that 1974 Chandler Field show. These guys were all pretty young and inexperienced, I guess -- it's hard to believe in 2016 that all this was happening right over town. That's how I remember it, though.

As I said before, the crowd line was REALLY close to the runway. The whole airport was really small -- one runway if I remember correctly. I've never seen anything quite like it since. When it all moved to Madera it seemed like everything was way off in the distance. These Chandler shows were pretty remarkable...
