If anybody wants my autograph on the picture of the CAF P-47 taxiing by the fat boy in red hat, shirt , black shorts next to the fuel truck give me a call! All the years there I finally got a picture. Was there with Texas Raiders that year.

Sad to think that within one month two of the Mustangs, N51HT and N12700 were both lost in separate fatal accidents. :(

Thanks for the pictures of C-FFUZ. My favorite civilian scheme ever on a Mustang. I saw it in a hangar at Alma, MI probably five or six years ago now. Still had the black spinner, but the rest was unpainted. At the time, I was told it was owned by an Australian. I see it has since been sold to a new owner and been repainted.

"Death Rattler" wintered at the Air Zoo once when I was very young. It's the first memory I have of seeing a Mustang.

Is there enough interest for me to keep posting on this thread or you getting tired of it. I will keep posting more on my Flickr site anyway.

I'm lovin' it! Your pics bring back great memories of my many years attending the Breckenridge shows (I only ever missed two!). I still keep looking for myself in the background... geek

Old Shep, I thought I had all the T-6/SNJs that attended, but I can't find yours. How was it painted, maybe I misidentified it in my records.
