Reading the good news about the B-58 at Chanute headed for a new home got me wondering about the other aircraft that I assume are still there. I know a few others have found new homes but any news about the fate of the remaining aircraft? I'm very curious if the Connie there will be saved.

What if instead of scrapping these planes, they were auctioned off to the general public?

Glad to hear this Mitchell was saved. I know he P-51 went to Georgia, the B-52 nose piece went to Florida, and an F-100 went to Michigan. Not sure about any others that may have been saved.
