T-28 wings are only about 5 ft. long so don't think so.

Think you mean T-38 wings are 5ft long.

T-28 Trojan wings are quite large.

On another note..Curtiss P-47 wings....wrong company and and wrong type..lol. Someone was not too sure what they were doing when they posted that.

Oh well.

Didn't Navy trainers use the last three digits of the BuNo as the fuselage/wing code? If so they might be from T-28B 138229; the "2W" code comes up as NAS Miami. Trouble is, 138229 was sold to Thailand, so... :?:

Kind of look like North American T2 Buckeye wings to me.

Been waiting for someone else to pipe in here on this. Nope I mean T-Twenty-Eight wings are only about 5 feet long,,,,,,,,,,maybe six on the outside.
The majority of the lifting surface of a T-28 is a Center Section with two stub wings on the ends.
Should know as I had five of them sitting by my hangar for years.

Definitely not P-47 wings. They are painted in the old Navy white and high visibility orange scheme. P47 wings are also elliptical.

You may be right; might be two starboard wings because neither one has a landing gear well. I spent a while last night looking for a photo showing the top of a Buckeye wing to match the skin/rivet patterns; best match I could find was an image of an MPM model kit!

Curtiss did build P-47's, that's where the P-47G's came from. :)

After looking at the photos again and our T2 this morning, I'm going with T2 wings. Here's a photo of our wing for comparison.

Could someone buy them and then sue to actually be given real P-47 wings from some dark corner? J/K.
