I remember when it, the F-15 and 16 were "new".

On June 28th, 1972, Tomcat #10 completed the first carrier landing by an F-14 with a Navy pilot. The 1st carrier landing was documented on film available at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vidyvgkO2IQ
