The link did not work for me but the picture posted is absolutely stunning! Beautiful job and a very unique and interesting airplane. Much more interesting, IMHO, then it would have been if returned to stock configuration.

Very nice, link didn't work for me either.
Would love to see more of those green doors!

Beautiful!
Made a model of this one many years ago (conversion from the Hasegawa kit), so great to see it done correctly. And so much better than seeing it 'restored' back to stock and painted up as yet another European Theatre machine.

PS: Those doors aren't green. They're silver.

That did it for me Jerry, thank you for the superb photos. While I was aware that the NEAM were restoring this bird I was not aware that it was nearing completion so your post was quite a nice surprise. The bright yellow Mustang certainly stands out among the more drab military paint schemes on the majority of the aircraft surrounding it. I think it is fantastic! I only lament that it is clear on the other side of the country. If only it were flyable...

Wow, beautiful restoration. I can't wait to get up there and see it in person.

What a beautiful airplane! Would love to see it fly again, but of course I'm glad it's "safe."

Yes "Badman", the gear doors are green despite proof to the contrary.

Not sure how they missed that.
