Sort of related - when Jerry Yagen's Mosquito flew here in NZ I asked him, if he ever got a Stuka, would he consider bringing it here to be restored? "No, I've got a company in Germany who does the German stuff for me" :drink3:

Another great update Matthias, that Centaurus is stunning! And I like the progress on the 109G-12.

I believe that there is only one available Bf-110C wreck that could be rebuilt to airworthy, one the three that Jim Pearce brought out of Russia. It was listed as in storage with a private owner.

Try Pacific Oil Cooler in Laverne California, 800-866-7335...ask for "Skid" he (they) do all of Collings' coolers. They can also make custom coolers as well.

There was also a BF-110 in a Scandinavian country, maybe Norway that was restored to static and looked great. It was in private hands. How old is that guy, is he still alive and could it be made available?

So now MM has two of the three flyable Fiat G.59s in there stable?! And they are restoring both?! Pretty neat. But I hope the dual control aspect is retained for rides and pilot orientation.

Are there any other G.59s around to bring back to flying condition?

That tweet is from 10 September, so I'm thinking the sale happened earlier that month.

I'm not sure Mr Yagen bought this one as I've read online somewhere today it's for "a German owner".
